CCL Secure further reduces carbon emissions by 26% at UK site

At CCL Secure, we believe in the importance of increasing the sustainability of our processes as well as our products, to ensure we leave a cleaner and greener planet for future generations.

Since 2018, CCL Secure has achieved a 26% reduction in carbon emissions per tonne of product at our Wigton site in England. With the support of sustainability consultants Verco, we have reduced our manufacturing emissions across all three greenhouse gas scopes, without the inclusion of carbon offsets and market based instruments.

Central Bank of Egypt launches new £10 note on GUARDIAN Polymer

Congratulations to The Central Bank of Egypt for launching the new £10 note  using CCL Secure’s GUARDIAN. The new banknotes will be printed in Egypt’s new printing house – the largest print works in Egypt – based in the country’s new administrative capital, east of Cairo.
